Stacking the Shelves (98)

StS Graphic 2016

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews, where bloggers can share the books and bookish items that we’ve bought, borrowed, or received each week.

This StS is for the past two weeks.

The Prey (The Hunt #2) by Andrew Fukuda

I have a super small haul this week, but that’s okay! I read The Hunt by Andrew Fukuda for my book club in October and I loved it so much (you can see my review here) that I had to check out the second book from my library! I wanted to get the third book (The Trap) as well, but it wasn’t available. But I’m sure I’ll be reading it soon!

What did you guys get this week? Let me know, or leave a link to your StS post (or IMM or any other alternative) in the comments and I’ll try to stop by your blog!

Andrea

Small hauls are good. They allow you to catch up on certain things. i hope you love all of your new books.

I vaguely remember checking out The Hunt from my local public library, years ago! I don’t think I ever read the book, unfortunately. *hides* I hope you enjoy this one, Andrea!

I love how reading one books gets us to read even more. I’m glad you enjoyed the series. Have a great week of reading.

I really hope they have the third book by the time you finish this one. I also love when a series kind of forces us to push aside everything else until we read all of it. I have lots of reading commitments between the bookstore and book clubs, but it’s nice to get lost in something. Right now I’m almost done binge-listening to the My Favorite Murder podcast, which has been awesome but totally awful for my audiobook listening habits. ;)
