#FitReaders Check-In: November 18, 2016

Each week, those who are participating in #FitReaders do a check-in where they share how their week went, fitness-wise. I’ll be trying to post these check-ins each week on Friday.
My Goals (For Now)
-Exercise at least 3 days/week
-Try to get at least 5,000 steps/day
These goals are just for now, because I’m trying to start small. Once I am hitting these goals frequently, I’ll switch to harder goals.
I’m still not doing as much as I would like. I did speak to my doctor this week about losing weight, and he gave me tons of tips, mostly dealing with my eating, which I think will be a great help. So I’m staying positive! Unfortunately I have holidays and a big trip coming up so I won’t be eating as well as I should, but I’m going to try anyway. And definitely in the new year, I’ll be working on eating much better and working out more, too!
A note about this weeks’s stats: In my last FitReaders post, I ended with Friday, November 11, so this time I’m starting with Saturday, November 12, so this isn’t a full week. I know, I know, I messed stuff up, but next time it should all be back on track!
Saturday (11/12): No exercise, 2,690 steps
Sunday (11/13): No exercise, 2,243 steps
Monday (11/14): Ran around with my son, pushing him and carrying him 20 minutes, 4,552 steps
Tuesday (11/15): No exercise, 2,878 steps
Wednesday (11/16): No exercise, 1,973 steps (My FitBit died and I didn’t realize it)
Thursday (11/17): 10 minute dance party with my son, 3,729 steps
