#FitReaders Check-In: October 7, 2016
#FitReaders is a group of book lovers who encourage each other with their fitness goals. It’s hosted by Felicia at The Geeky Blogger’s Book Blog and Jen at That’s What I’m Talking About. Go here or here for more info.
Each week, those who are participating in #FitReaders do a check-in where they share how their week went, fitness-wise. I’ll be trying to post these check-ins each week on Friday.
My Goals (For Now)
-Exercise at least 3 days/week
-Try to get at least 5,000 steps/day
These goals are just for now, because I’m trying to start small. Once I am hitting these goals frequently, I’ll switch to harder goals.
My Week
Okay, so this first week in October wasn’t great, but wasn’t horrible. I did get in my Fun Mile for October, and I did exercise for at least 3 days. And my steps overall are getting better, since most days I’m getting close to 5k. I hope to get many more days with 5k+ steps next week!
Friday (9/30): Walked on treadmill, 20 minutes, 5,552 steps
Saturday (10/1): Walked with family, 10 minutes, 3,915 steps
Sunday (10/2): No exercise, 4,497 steps
Monday (10/3): No exercise, 4,742 steps
Tuesday (10/4): No exercise (sick), 2,601 steps
Wednesday (10/5): Walked 1 mile on treadmill (Fun Mile for October, see photo), 25 minutes, 5,466 steps
Thursday (10/6): Walked on treadmill, 15 minutes, 4,648 steps
