#FitReaders Check-In: October 28, 2016
#FitReaders is a group of book lovers who encourage each other with their fitness goals. It’s hosted by Felicia at The Geeky Blogger’s Book Blog and Jen at That’s What I’m Talking About. Go here or here for more info.
Each week, those who are participating in #FitReaders do a check-in where they share how their week went, fitness-wise. I’ll be trying to post these check-ins each week on Friday.
My Goals (For Now)
-Exercise at least 3 days/week
-Try to get at least 5,000 steps/day
These goals are just for now, because I’m trying to start small. Once I am hitting these goals frequently, I’ll switch to harder goals.
My Week
For the past couple of weeks, I’ve really gotten out of the habit of exercising, which is not good. It means I never make it anywhere close either of my goals. I need to fix that, because we’re going to Disneyland soon, and while I know everyone is exhausted after a day or two at Disneyland, I don’t want to be exhausted after just a couple hours.
Friday (10/21): No exercise, had dentist appointment and was on some meds that made me very sleepy, 2,044 steps
Saturday (10/22): No exercise, although I should have exercised a few times because I was sitting in bed reading all day for Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon, 1,987 steps
Sunday (10/23): Dance party with the kiddos for 15 minutes, 4,742 steps
Monday (10/24): No exercise, 4,267 steps
Tuesday (10/25): No exercise, 2,891 steps
Wednesday (10/26): No exercise, 3,305 steps
Thursday (10/27): No exercise, 3,010 steps
Are you participating in #FitReaders, too? Let me know, and I’ll try to stop by your blog!
