#FitReaders is a group of book lovers who encourage each other with their fitness goals. It’s hosted by Felicia at The Geeky Blogger’s Book Blog and Jen at That’s What I’m Talking About. Go here or here for more info.

Each week, those who are participating in #FitReaders do a check-in where they share how their week went, fitness-wise. I’ll be trying to post these check-ins each week on Friday.

My Goals (For Now)

-Exercise at least 3 days/week
-Try to get at least 5,000 steps/day

These goals are just for now, because I’m trying to start small. Once I am hitting these goals frequently, I’ll switch to harder goals.

My Week

My week was about the same as last week: not great, not horrible. I’m hoping next week I’ll meet both of my goals!

Friday (10/7): No exercise, 2,358 steps
Saturday (10/8): No exercise, 3,355 steps
Sunday (10/9): No exercise, 2,999 steps
Monday (10/10): Walked on treadmill 20 minutes, 6,081 steps
Tuesday (10/11): Walked on treadmill 20 minutes, 6,317 steps
Wednesday (10/12): No exercise, 4,232 steps
Thursday (10/13): Dance party with my 1 1/2 year old for 10 minutes, 3,529 steps

Are you participating in #FitReaders, too? Let me know, and I’ll try to stop by your blog!

Dance parties are a great way to get in the steps and raise the pulse! I remember those days. Now that my daughter is older, I’ve been known to do Dance party on the Xbox! Great job!
