#FitReaders Check-In: September 23, 2016
#FitReaders is a group of book lovers who encourage each other with their fitness goals. It’s hosted by Felicia at The Geeky Blogger’s Book Blog and Jen at That’s What I’m Talking About. Go here or here for more info.
Each week, those who are participating in #FitReaders do a check-in where they share how their week went, fitness-wise. I’ll be trying to post these check-ins each week on Friday.
My Goals (For Now)
-Exercise at least 3 days/week
-Try to get at least 5,000 steps/day
These goals are just for now, because I’m trying to start small. Once I am hitting these goals frequently, I’ll switch to harder goals.
This week was a busy one, but unfortunately I didn’t really meet my goals. I’m hoping to turn things around next week!
Friday (9/16): Only exercised about 5 minutes, trying out our new BowFlex machine, 2,761 steps
Saturday (9/17): Spent at least 3.5 hours rearranging my bookshelves (and believe me, that was a workout!), 6,040 steps
Sunday (9/18): Walked around holding my son, 10 minutes, 3,153 steps
Monday (9/19): No exercise, 3,600 steps
Tuesday (9/20): No exercise, 5,463 steps
Wednesday (9/21): No exercise, 3,803 steps
Thursday (9/22): No exercise (and I had a dental procedure in the early afternoon and was put on meds so I was out of it for the rest of the day), 1,766 steps
