#FitReaders Check-In: September 2, 2016

Each week, those who are participating in #FitReaders do a check-in where they share how their week went, fitness-wise. I’ll be trying to post these check-ins each week on Friday.
This was my first full week with my Fitbit Flex and while I am nowhere near that 10k steps per day goal, it’s good to see just about how many steps I take when I’m not exercising. Because I didn’t do much exercising this week at all. I kept meaning to, but then my baby would be fussy or wouldn’t nap, or dinner would be late and so we wouldn’t go walk afterward. But this coming week, I’m going to get those steps up and go for the 5 days of exercise for the week! Ideally, I’d like to exercise or at least take a walk after dinner every day, but I think small goals are good, especially since August was so bad for me and I got out of the habit of exercising. But September is going to be my month, I can feel it!
Friday (8/26): Walked on treadmill, 17 minutes (back started hurting), 4,147 steps
Saturday (8/27): Jogged with kiddo, 10 minutes, 4,673 steps
Sunday (8/28): No exercise, 3,105 steps
Monday (8/29): No exercise, 3,911 steps
Tuesday (8/30): No exercise, 2,257 steps
Wednesday (8/31): No exercise, 3,786 steps
Thursday (9/1): No exercise, 4,593 steps
