#FitReaders is a group of book lovers who encourage each other with their fitness goals. It’s hosted by Felicia at The Geeky Blogger’s Book Blog and Jen at That’s What I’m Talking About. Go here or here for more info.

Each week, those who are participating in #FitReaders do a check-in where they share how their week went, fitness-wise. I’ll be trying to post these check-ins each week on Friday.

My Week

For most of this week, I didn’t get any exercising in. But then my mom came to town for a visit and we spent a good amount of time on Sunday walking around downtown. And then I found a new workout app: Zombies Run. It’s so fun! I’ve only done it once so far but it was very cool. It’s this app where you listen with your headphones while you walk/jog/run and it’s like you’re in a zombie apocalypse! It’s free but there are in-app purchases and you can upgrade for more features. It definitely was fun for me since I’m a big fan of zombies, and it actually made me forget that I was exercising for a bit! I’m looking forward to using the app again!

Friday 7/29: No exercise
Saturday 7/30: No exercise
Sunday 7/31: Walked with family downtown, about 2 miles while we were sight-seeing and shopping
Monday 8/1: No exercise
Tuesday 8/2: No exercise
Wednesday 8/3: No exercise
Thursday 8/4: Walked/Jogged with Zombies Run app, 20 minutes

Are you participating in #FitReaders, too? Let me know, and I’ll try to stop by your blog!

Oh I LOVE the Zombies Run! app, I liked the free version so much I bought the yearly membership. I don’t like to run without it.

Hi. I’ve been trying to get some regular exercises, which I’m currently terrible at. This #FitReaders sounds good, and so is that Zombie Run. I think I’ll check them out.

By the way, you’re using WordPress, am I right? How do you attach the Bloglovin’ widget on your sidebar? I tried attaching it, but it said that it doesn’t work on WordPress.

Honestly, I have no clue. I hired Ashley from Nose Graze to migrate my blog from Blogger to Word Press, so she was the one who put that there for me. You could check out her blog, because she has a lot of WP tips, and she might have something about it on there. Or you could ask her, and she might be able to tell you (she’s @NoseGraze on Twitter) or she might be able to do it for you for a fee. I’m not sure if that’s a thing she would charge for or not. But I highly recommend her for any kind of Word Press stuff you need!

Will do! I’ve still only used it the one time but I plan on using it again soon!
