#FitReaders Check-In: August 26, 2016

Each week, those who are participating in #FitReaders do a check-in where they share how their week went, fitness-wise. I’ll be trying to post these check-ins each week on Friday.

My Week

August just hasn’t been my month for fitness, you guys. I’ve had some sick days and had some dental procedures done where I’m all but knocked out, so that hasn’t helped, but mostly I just haven’t gotten back into the habit of exercising regularly. BUT my mom recently sent me her Fitbit Flex that she wasn’t using anymore (she prefers the kind that you hook onto your clothes instead of one that goes around your wrist), and while I’ve only used it for one day, I’m hoping that it will help me get back into the swing of things.

Last Friday was one of the days where I was at the dentist and on meds so I didn’t get around to writing an update for that week, so I’m just going to list the past two weeks in this post. I happened to get a mile in during that first week, and because I already got a Fun Mile in for August, I’ll be using this mile as a makeup for March.

Saturday 8/13: Did a bit of trampoline jumping at my son’s birthday party :)
Sunday 8/14: Walked/jogged with Zombies Run app on treadmill, 39 minutes, 1 mile *Fun Mile (Makeup for March) (See photo)
Monday 8/15: No exercise
Tuesday 8/16: No exercise
Wednesday 8/17: No exercise
Thursday 8/18: No exercise
Friday 8/19:
No exercise (dental procedure)
Saturday 8/20:
No exercise
Sunday 8/21:
No exercise
Monday 8/22:
Walked/jogged with Zombies Run app on treadmill, 25 minutes
Tuesday 8/23:
No exercise (another dental procedure)
Wednesday 8/24:
Walked/jogged on treadmill, 25 minutes
Thursday 8/25:
Walked/jogged with Zombies Run app on treadmill, 26 minutes, *1st day with Fitbit: 6,024 steps
