Stacking the Shelves (80)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews, where bloggers can share the books and bookish items that we’ve bought, borrowed, or received each week.

This StS is for the past two weeks.

From the Library
Attack on Titan Vol. 1 by Hajime Isayama
Knights of Sidonia 1 by Tsutomu Nihei
Black Butler Vol. 1 by Yana Toboso
Pumpkin Scissors 1 by Ryotaro Iwanaga
I got some birthday money from my Mom and Dad and with it I bought:
Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater
Anna and the French Kiss, Lola and the Boy Next Door, and Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins
Grasshoper Jungle by Andrew Smith
Hunter by Mercedes Lackey
Violent Ends edited by Shaun David Hutchinson
(Thanks, Mom & Dad!)
I decided I wanted to try out some manga so I got those 4 from the library, and I’ve already read them and can’t wait to read more! And I can’t wait to read all those other books!

What did you guys get this week?  Let me know, or leave a link to your StS post (or IMM or any other alternative) in the comments and I’ll try to stop by your blog!

What a lovely stack of books! I'm a huge fan of the Raven Cycle, and I've already pre-ordered my copy of the Raven King (plus, Maggie Stiefvater has a personal friendship with the owner of Fountain Books here in Richmond, so she does special doodles and things for the store). I love Stephanie Perkins, and her books are fun but not shallow, you know? And yay to all the Graphic Novels and Manga!

YAY for ANNA, LOLA, and ISLA! Have you read them before or will this be your first read? I recently bought ANNA and ISLA in paperback. I've read them all and own them in hardcover, but I love Stephanie Perkins so much, I wanted to own them all. I've recently started collecting her books/ARCs/swag/ETC.

I love manga. My favorite is DEATH NOTE. I highly recommend it!

    Have a great weekend, Andrea!

I've read Anna & Lola (and loved them!) but not Isla yet. I'm doing the A Series A Month reading challenge this year and companion novels count, too, so one month I'm going to reread the first 2 and then finally read Isla. Plus, I read them back before I started my blog so now I can write review for them! It's a win-win-win situation!! ;)
