Stacking the Shelves (77)
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews, where bloggers can share the books and bookish items that we’ve bought, borrowed, or received each week.
This StS is for the past two weeks.*NOTE: I received or purchased all of these books before January 1, 2016, so all of the purchased books can count for the 2016 Mount TBR reading challenge.
Gifts/Purchased
Santa left a jar in my stocking this year, so I was able to create the above TBR Jar! I’m super excited to use it this year! Thanks, Santa!
I also received some money for Christmas this year from my parents and the hubs (Thanks, Mom, Dad, and J!), so I bought:
Secret New York: Color Your Way to Calm by Zoe de las Cases
The 100, Day 21 (The 100 #2), and Homecoming (The 100 #3) by Kass Morgan
This Is Where It Ends by Marieke Nijkamp
Wandering Star (Zodiac #2) by Romina Russell
Their Fractured Light (Starbound #3) by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner
The Wicked +The Divine, Vol. 1: The Faust Act by Kieron Gillen, et al.
Injection, Vol. 1 by Warren Ellis, et al.

January 2, 2016 at 8:58 pmI LOVE that you're doing a TBR Jar. I think it's the coolest thing (but don't have the guts to do one myself yet ;) ).
I have been impressed with the stress relieving coloring books, but have never heard of one that takes in city scenes. I wonder if there will be a difference. The typical ones work wonders, although I don't tend to spend as much time on them as I should. (Too many good books..)
Great haul, happy new year, and happy reading!

January 3, 2016 at 4:54 pmGorgeous haul Andrea^^ I love the idea (and look) of a TBR jar but I don't know if it'd work for me since I'm such a mood reader. I'm tempted to make one though cause they're so pretty ♥ I still need to read Starbound, Zodiac and The 100 but I vow to get to them in 2016 LOL! Happy reading xx

January 5, 2016 at 1:55 amI love the NYC coloring book! This Is Where it Ends was a great book- but a tough subject matter. Your tbr jar perfection!
