An adaptation of the original by Jane Austen that tells of Lizzy Bennet and her loveable, eccentric family as they navigate through tricky British social circles. (Cover and synopsis from Goodreads.)
My friend Kate at Midnight Book Girl has this feature called Short and Tweet Reviews where she reviews books in 140 characters or less, like a tweet. With this graphic novel, I didn’t have many notes written, so I thought I’d write a Short and Tweet Review for it.
So here’s my Short and Tweet Review for the Pride & Prejudice graphic novel:
LOVE the cover, didn’t love the art inside. Characters looked too modern & looked too much alike. Didn’t make me want to grab the original.
My rating for Pride & Prejudice, by Nancy Butler and Hugo Petrus, adapted from Jane Austen’s novel:
2 stars. I’ll eventually read the original, which I think I’ll enjoy more than this adaptation.

Disclaimer: I borrowed a copy of this book from my library. I was in no way compensated for this review.
