Top Ten Tuesday: Covers as Art
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic. I’m a huge fan of lists, so this meme is right up my alley!
Wow, it’s been a long time since I did one of these posts! Since December, actually! Well, let’s get to it, shall we?
This week’s topic is Top Ten Book Covers I’d Frame As Pieces of Art. There are SO many beautiful covers out there, and it was hard for me to pick just 10, so I have some runners up posted at the bottom. As always, my list is not in any kind of ranking order, but rather in alphabetical order by the author’s last name.
The Search for WondLa by Tony DiTerlizzi*
Hourglass, Timepiece, and Infinityglass by Myra McEntire
For Darkness Shows the Stars and Across a Star-Swept Sea by Diana Peterfreund
Black City by Elizabeth Richards
Vicious by Victoria Schwab
What’s Left of Me and Once We Were by Kat Zhang
Some honorable mentions:
The Selection by Kiera Cass, Wither by Lauren DeStefano, The Ward by Jordana Frankel, and Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
*All the art in The Search for WondLa is beautiful, and I’d love to have any of it as a piece of art framed in my house!
What book covers would you love to frame up as art? Let me know, or leave a link to your TTT in the comments, and I’ll try to stop by your blog!

May 6, 2014 at 8:42 pmGreat covers! The Diana Peterfreund covers are absolutely stunning, I love starry skies on covers. The Myra McEntire covers are really brilliant too, I've seen those on a lot of lists before. Nice picks :) Here's my TTT.

May 7, 2014 at 12:25 amI like The Search for Wondla and Timepiece a lot- both would look great. I'm familiar w/ DiTerlizzi from my gaming days and he always did do very nice art, so I have no doubt that's a beautiful book.
