Stacking the Shelves (44)
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews, where bloggers can share the books and bookish items that we’ve bought, borrowed, or received each week.
This StS is for the past two weeks.
Birthday Gifts
My birthday was a little over a week ago and I got some great gifts!
My husband bought me Revived by Cat Patrick, a Harry Potter chocolate frog card, and a gift card to our local independent bookstore.
My parents gave me a gift card and some cash, and with the cash I bought: Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood
Requiem by Lauren Oliver
Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers
The Diviners by Libba Bray
(Thanks, J and Mom & Dad!)

A few days later I went to the bookstore to spend that gift card my husband bought for me, and with it I bought:
Bunheads by Sophie Flack
The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick
The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily M. Danforth
Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi
(Thanks, J!)
Then, in the mail, I got these books from my friend Courtney at Abducted By Books:
So You Created a Wormhole by Phil Hornshaw & Nick Hurwitch
Doomsday Book by Connie Willis
(Thanks, Courtney!)
I had a great birthday and can’t wait to read all of these books! What did you guys get this week? Let me know, or leave a link to your StS post (or IMM or any other alternative) in the comments and I’ll try to stop by your blog!
