Sundays in Bed With…Altered

Sundays in Bed With… is a meme/feature started by my friend Kate at Midnight Book Girl, where we can highlight the book that we’re spending the day in bed reading (or the one we wish we could be reading all day in bed!).

I’m spending this Sunday in Bed With…

Altered by Gennifer Albin

Altered was my one absolutely-must-have at BEA this year, and although I’m enjoying it so far (I’ve already had a couple of fangirl moments), it’s going slowly because I’ve been in a bit of a reading/blogging slump for the past week.  I’m hoping that it’ll all get better soon!

What are you spending this Sunday in bed with?  Let me know in the comments, or leave a link to your post if you’re participating in this meme and I’ll stop by your blog!

I'm sorry to hear you're in a blogging/reading slump! Blogging was one of the things that made me feel less lonely when I moved to Virginia. I really wanted to be on the east coast, and near my family, but it was much harder to be away from my friends than I had anticipated. I love my job, but since I work only with my clients I didn't make friends as quickly as I had in the past. I literally called Bittner every single day for months. But then I started book blogging and started an online book club thru meet up and suddenly it was a lot easier to be living here. I've made so many wonderful friends, and I'm grateful to have met you too! I'm sure you're just at loose ends since moving. It takes awhile before you'll start to refer to Washington as home, but eventually you will. Maybe it's time to read some funny books and take a break from dystopians for a bit. ;)

Hmmmm…somehow I totally missed that there was a sequel to Crewel coming out this month! I have Crewel sitting here, I bought it last year and still haven't got to it!

I went through a major reading/blogging slump a few months ago, I'm just starting to get the "old me" back, but I'm *really* far behind!! Hopefully you'll find your groove again soon and be back into the swing of things!

I know this post is old so I'm hoping you got over your slump!
