Top Ten Tuesday: Most Memorable Secondary Characters
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic. I’m a huge fan of lists, so this meme is right up my alley!
Ladybird Hope from Beauty Queens by Libba Bray
I don’t remember too much about Ladybird Hope (I’ve read so many books since then!) except that she was such a strong, crazy character, and I loved her!
Finnick from The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins
Ah, Finnick. Such a strong, well-developed character with such an interesting back story!
Tiny Cooper from Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan
Tiny Cooper was such a fantastic character, and really became such a central character to this story, even though he wasn’t one of the two main characters.
Yackle from The Wicked Years series by Gregory Maguire
I haven’t yet read the last book of this series, but Yackle has always been there, just kind of hiding in the background, and I’m convinced that she will play a major part in the last book!
Thorne from Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
Thorne reminded me of a mix between Mal from Firefly, Jack Harkness from Doctor Who, and Zaphod Beeblebrox from Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. And now that I think about it, he’s got a lot of Han Solo in him as well!
Roar from Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
I loved Roar, even though he wasn’t a major character in the first book, and I’m looking forward to reading more about him in the rest of the series when I get to it!
Sirius Black from Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
I love SO many characters from the Harry Potter series, but Sirius is my absolute favorite!
Zuzana from Daughter of Smoke & Bone series by Laini Taylor
Zuzana is probably my favorite secondary character EVER. And that’s saying a lot, since Sirius Black is on this list!
