Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Books Set in Schools
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic. I’m a huge fan of lists, so this meme is right up my alley!
This week’s topic is Top Ten Favorite Books With X Setting. Since I read a lot of books set in the future, I didn’t want to choose that as my setting, because I’d basically just be listing my favorite books. So I decided to kind of go the opposite way, to a more contemporary setting: school. There are tons of YA books set in schools, and there are many more that I’d like to read, but here are my ten favorite books where the story takes place mostly in or around a school.
And my all-time favorite set in or around a school? Surprise, surprise, it’s:
(Please forgive the fact that I didn’t do anything but list these with their cover photos: I’m in the process of moving and don’t have a whole lot of time to devote to blogging right now, but I still wanted to participate in this week’s TTT!)
What are your favorite books set in schools? Let me know, or leave a link to your TTT in the comments, and I’ll stop by your blog and see what setting you chose!

August 14, 2013 at 5:00 amGreat list. Harry Potter and Percy Jackson are great series. I'd also have to pick House of Night and Blue is for Nightmares, if we're talking about schools.
