Stacking the Shelves (29): BEA13 Edition!

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews, where bloggers can share the books and bookish items that we’ve bought, borrowed, or received each week.

This StS is for the past two weeks, and it’s going to be my biggest haul ever. Sorry for the extremely long post!

From BEA 2013
So I DID try to limit myself because I didn’t want to seem greedy my first time going to BEA. But I ended up with a lot more books than I expected. Most of the unexpected books came during the BEA Blogger Con, so I blame them for having too many shiny books available during the panels and during the networking hour! ;)

From the BEA Blogger Con:
Unhooking the Moon by Gregory Hughes
Somebody Up There Hates You by Hollis Seamon
The Nazi Hunters by Neal Bascomb
The Wolf Princess by Cathryn Constable
The Time Fetch by Amy Herrick
The Darkest Path by Jeff Hirsch
Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer by Katie Alender
Sorrow’s Knot by Erin Bow
Journey to Virginland: Catena by Armen Melikian
Alex by Pierre Lemaitre
Quintana of Charyn by Melina Marchetta

From BEA Day 1:
Changers Book One: Drew by T. Cooper and Allison Glock
All the Truth That’s In Me by Julie Berry
Just Like Fate by Cat Patrick and Suzanne Young
Scorched by Mari Mancusi
Broken by C.J. Lyons
Across a Star-Swept Sea by Diana Peterfreund
The Eye of Minds by James Dashner
The Burning Sky by Sherry Thomas
Tumble & Fall by Alexandra Coutts
These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner
Limit by Frank Schatzing
Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi (Not pictured.  I got it signed to the hubs because he LOVED the first book. But of course I’ll read it, too!)

From BEA Day 2:
Vicious by V.E. Schwab
Dare Me by Eric Devine
Counting by 7s by Holly Goldberg Sloan
Once We Were by Kat Zhang
Entangled by Amy Rose Capetta
All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill

From BEA Day 3:
Altered by Gennifer Albin
The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider
Unraveling by Elizabeth Norris
Thanks to all the publishers and authors and booksellers who brought all these fantastic books to BEA to share with all of us!  We really appreciate it!

From Anna at Anna Reads and Jamie at The Perpetual Page-Turner, who brought some books to the BEA Blogger Picnic:
The Vicious Deep by Zoraida Cordova
Reclaimed by Sarah Guillory
Thanks, ladies! That was really sweet!

For Review

I got home from BEA and these books were waiting for me:
Fifteenth Summer by Michelle Dalton
Right of Way by Lauren Barnholdt
Letting Ana Go by Anonymous
Thanks so much to Simon Pulse!!

Kindle Freebie

I had seen this book around lots of blogs before, and I ended up meeting author Michelle Madow at BEA, and she told me that Remembrance was free on Amazon!  So I downloaded it once I got home.

Won
I participated in the Book Blogger Love-a-Thon back in February and I ended up winning their grand prize, which was two mystery boxes of books, and I received the second box yesterday!  Thanks again to Katelyn and Alexa for hosting, and for all the awesome books and swag!  Here’s what was in the second box, from Alexa:

Pinned by Sharon G. Flake
Q by Evan Mandery
Dark Lord: The Early Years by Jamie Thomson
The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer
Uses for Boys by Erica Lorraine Scheidt
Changeling by Philippa Gregory
The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa

The Other Half of Me by Morgan McCarthy
MidwinterBlood by Marcus Sedgwick
When it Happens to You by Molly Ringwald
Underworld by Meg Cabot
Birthmarked by Caragh M. O’Brien
On the Island by Tracey Garvis Graves
Prodigy by Marie Lu

Okay, so yeah, I look totally greedy. But I promise there were TONS of books at BEA that I turned down, that I didn’t grab because I’d never heard of them or because they were sequels when I hadn’t read the first book, and PLENTY of autographing lines that I didn’t get in.  I still have more books than I need, I know, but I could have come home with TONS more.

What did you guys get this week (or these past couple of weeks)?  Let me know, or leave a link to your StS post (or IMM or any other alternative) in the comments and I’ll stop by your blog!

I marvel at your restraint! I'm also a little jealous because you got some books at Blogger Con that I didn't. ;) I may have to borrow Unhook the Moon!

You did way better than I did… if my books ever get here. And we got COMPLETELY different books. I think I only got about 4 of the same ones that you picked up. :) It was SO AWESOME meeting you in real life.
