Stacking the Shelves (25) + BEA Questions

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews, where bloggers can share the books and bookish items that we’ve bought, borrowed, or received each week.

This StS is for the past two weeks.

For Review
Imaginable by J. Meyers – Thanks so much to the author!!

Kindle Freebie

Black Hole Sun by David Macinnis Gill – Thanks to the ladies from Epic Reads who host TeaTime for letting us know about this book and the fact that it was a freebie!  They said it was supposed to be a must read for Firefly fans, so I’m excited to read it!

Purchased
Once again, I might have gone a bit overboard at Half Price Books.  But to be fair, this stack of books would have normally been $50 at HPB (which is already a great deal!), but since I sold some books back there, I actually only spent $26.  Which is a fantastic deal, I think!  Here’s what I got:
The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan
The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan
The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan
The Name of This Book is Secret by Pseudonymous Bosch
Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
Audrey, Wait! by Robin Benway
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
The Bermudez Triangle by Maureen Johnson
The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima
Magisterium by Jeff Hirsch
Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood

What did you guys get this week?  Let me know, or leave a link to your StS post (or IMM or any other alternative) in the comments and I’ll stop by your blog!

**Also:  Are you a book blogger who is going to Book Expo America (BEA) this year, or lives in or around NYC?**
A few other bloggers and I are trying to plan a big informal gathering for all book bloggers during the week of BEA.  We’re currently trying to decide the day and time to have it, because we’re trying to schedule around BEA as well as the publisher parties that will be going on that week.  Please let me know if you are interested in coming, and let me know if you know the days/times of any of the publisher parties.  We’re hoping to schedule it so that as many book bloggers can come as possible, so any information you have on those parties would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!  And we are hoping to have it all planned as soon as possible so keep your eye out for that–I’ll have a post up about it here, and I’ll also be tweeting about it (@OverstuffedBook), as will the other bloggers involved in the planning!  Stay tuned!

Super haul! I love the Rick Riordan series and Richelle Mead's VA. Paranormalcy was a fun read, and the others are all on my wishlist/TBR.

Great haul of books. I'm very jealous about plans for BEA, I'm thousands of miles away. :(

Not that it matters, but I approve of all the books you bought.

As for BEA, I'm planning on packing a picnic lunch, getting a late and a baked treat from Billy's Bakery, and hanging out on the highline reading with as many bloggers as I can convince to come. Probably Saturday evening and/or Sunday. What dates are you there? Text me.

That is a lovely stack of books, Andrea!! The only night I have something planned is the Penguin party on Thursday. I don't anticipate any other invites though. ;)
