Stacking the Shelves (20)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews, where bloggers can share the books and bookish items that we’ve bought, borrowed, or received each week.

This StS is for the past two weeks.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas (Thanks, Holly!)

For my birthday, my book club girls gave me a delicious cupcake and a signed copy of The Fame Game by Lauren Conrad, because I’m a closeted lover of The Hills and Laguna Beach (Thanks, ladies!)

I also got a Hastings gift card from my brother and his wife (Thanks, T & K!), as well as some birthday money from my parents (Thanks, Mom & Dad!), and with it bought:
Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
Slide by Jill Hathaway
Delirium by Lauren Oliver (which I’ve already read but wanted my own copy)
Eve & Adam by Michael Grant and Katherine Applegate
Breathe by Sarah Crossan
Shades of Earth by Beth Revis

Such a great haul for my birthday!  I can’t wait to read all of these!

What did you guys get this week?  Let me know, or leave a link to your StS post (or IMM or any other alternative) in the comments and I’ll stop by your blog!

These are a lot of great books!

Throne of Glass wasn't entirely what I was expecting from the descriptions, but it was still a great read!

I read The Book Thief several years ago, but I have strong memories of its being a very interesting, very profound book. I would love to reread it sometime. I think I even have the audiobook.

That's a nice stack of books!!

I read The Book Thief a while back, and it's one of my favorite books! I hope you enjoy it!

Several of the others are on my TBR pile.

Great birthday book haul, Andrea!! Plus, I TOTALLY knew that you were getting the signed Conrad book before you did, and for some reason that makes me feel like I had something to do with it. Which is a complete lie. ;)
