Top Ten Tuesday (10): 2013 Book Resolutions
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic. I’m a huge fan of lists, so this meme is right up my alley!
Happy New Year, everyone! This week’s topic is Top Ten Books I Resolve To Read In 2013. Since I have over 100 books on my shelves that I have yet to read, this list is made up of mostly those books. But I had to add in a couple must-read 2013 releases to the list, too.
So here they are, alphabetically by author, the Top Ten Books I Resolve to Read in 2013:
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Tempest by Julie Cross
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Monument 14 by Emmy Laybourne
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
Black City by Elizabeth Richards
Spark by Amy Kathleen Ryan
Outside In by Maria V. Snyder
Pivot Point by Kasie West
Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld
What books are you resolving to read in 2013? Let me know, or leave a link to your TTT in the comments, and I’ll stop by your blog!

January 1, 2013 at 6:56 amObsidian is a book I've heard really good things about. I recently purchased it and can't wait to read it.
Outside In is very good. I definitely recommend it. Tempest was also very good.
I'm also dying to read Pivot Point, The Black City, and The Unbecoming of Mara. Great list.
Happy New Years and happy reading!

Leviathan is OUTSTANDING. I just finished the whole series and it's going on my favorite shelf. This series has the best world-building I have EVER seen. Truly amazing.
I'm super excited for Scarlet!
And I'm intrigued by Pivot Point. That's on my coveted debuts list!

Monument 14 is a really good read and The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer is a MUST. I have heard some good things about Obsidian and I am starting to think I need to add it to my TBR pile.

January 2, 2013 at 2:06 amObsidian is a lot of fun. I think the first book, Obsidian, is my favorite in the series, but I love Onyx and Opal. Although there was such a cliff hanger at the end of Opal. I didn't like that.
Here's to 2013!
