Stacking the Shelves (15)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews, where bloggers can share the books and bookish items that we’ve bought, borrowed, or received each week.

This StS is for the past two weeks.

Purchased
Gone Girl ebook by Gillian Flynn–This was my book club’s November selection, and we just met last weekend.  I really enjoyed it, and my review will be up soon!

Kindle Freebies
Wander Dust by Michelle Warren
Jenny Pox by J.L. Bryan

This started off as a very small haul (only one book), but I found some Kindle freebies and I couldn’t resist!  I guess it’s still a pretty small haul, but that’s okay, because I’ve been so busy lately that it’s better if I slow down on my book buying!

What did you guys get this week?  Let me know, or leave a link to your StS post (or IMM or any other alternative) in the comments and I’ll stop by your blog!

I so need to slow down my book buying as well. Great haul still. Sometimes it's not about quantity, but about quality. Great haul.

I also really enjoyed Gone Girl…Gillian Flynn is an amazing (yet twisted and dark) writer…her 3 books have quickly catapulted her name to pretty darn near the top of my favorite authors list.

Such a huge Gillian Flynn fan, and as soon as I saw Gone Girl go up on NetGalley last spring, I was ALL over it. Then I read it and had no one to discuss it with.
I think I loved Dark Places the best of all her books, but GG was a ton of fun. I also read that she's writing a YA — which makes perfect sense since her first two books were sort of New Adult.
