HDM Readalong Event Post List

Hi!  This post is a list of all the posts done for the His Dark Materials Readalong event, that way all our participants can interact and see each other’s thoughts on these books!  I’ll list the informational posts by myself and Jessie at The Daily Bookmark, and also list all the participants’ posts as they go online.  I’ll try to keep this post updated regularly, but feel free to leave a link in the comments if I haven’t listed one of your posts, and I’ll be sure to add it!

Thanks for keeping this all organized, Andrea. Really this will be MY go to post throughout the next two months!

You're welcome! I find it's a lot easier to have one kind of go-to post than to always be scrolling down or looking at archive lists. Plus this way all our participants can check out each others' posts! :D

Do our discussion posts have to be the chapters like yours or can it be a completely separate discussion like the controversy of the books or something like that?

No, you can totally do your own discussion posts if you want! You can simply respond to our discussion posts which will be split up by certain chapters, or you can write your own discussion posts about one of the books, two of the books, all of the books, about half of a book or whatever you want to do! I think your discussion idea sounds great (although I probably won't read it until I've finished the books because I've never read them before)!

As far as the readalong goes, you can do whatever you want, really, but for the giveaway you have to first write a NEW review or NEW discussion post (whether it's your own post or a response to one of our discussion posts) about one or more of the books. "New" simply meaning you can't go find an old review you did a year ago and link to that–it has to be a review or discussion post done within the time of the readalong. This first review or discussion post counts as your mandatory entry for the giveaway. Once you have that one entered into the giveaway, you can earn other extra entries, for things such as following our blogs, following us on Twitter, writing a Spread the Word post (like you already have done!), and writing more reviews and/or discussion posts.

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have any more! :D

I am impressed! I doubt my readalong will be anywhere as near organized. Again, I'll be joining in the Amber Spyglass readalong even if October is a cray-cray month for me. ;)

Thanks! I thought about doing a list like this around the middle of our last readalong, so I'm starting a bit early this time around! And we're glad you'll be joining in! :D
