Waiting on Wednesday (8): Pivot Point by Kasie West
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
by HarperTeen
Reminiscent of the movie Sliding Doors, Pivot Point is about a girl who has the power to Search alternate futures. When faced with a life changing decision, she lives out six weeks of two different lives (in alternating chapters), both holding the potential for love and loss, and must ultimately choose which path she is willing to live through.
This blurb had me at “Sliding Doors”. I loved that movie! I had to add it to my Netflix queue after reading this blurb for the first time so that I could watch it again ASAP!
Alternate universes? That sounds fantastic! I haven’t heard of any other alternate universe books, but if you have, please let me know in the comments! I want to read ’em all! But this one sounds awesome! And look at that cover!! I can’t wait for February!!!
What book are you waiting on? Let me know, or leave a link to your WoW post in the comments, and I’ll stop by your blog! And don’t forget to check out my stop on the Vacation Reads Giveaway Hop–today’s the last day to enter!

July 26, 2012 at 1:24 pmCover is stunning, naturally. I haven't heard of, let alone seen, Sliding Doors but it sounds pretty great. : )
As a side note, I refuse to use 2013 releases as my WoW. Why? Cause the wait for these beauties is torturous! Seriously? Another six months to this? Painful! ; )
Great pick, nevertheless.

July 26, 2012 at 6:38 pmI get you on the whole books coming out in 2013 thing. It is so long to wait! But sometimes I just see books that totally fit this WoW meme, even though they're months and months away from publication! ;)

July 26, 2012 at 5:32 pmI've never seen Sliding Doors. I didn't even know what it was about until like 2 seconds ago when I looked it up. This sounds really good, but that cover is so freaking awesome that I'd probably still want it even if it sounded like the worst book ever.
