Sundays in Bed With… (8)

Sundays in Bed With… is a new meme/feature started by my friend Kate at Midnight Book Girl, where we can highlight the book that we’re spending the day in bed reading (or the one we wish we could be reading all day in bed!).

I’m spending this Sunday in Bed With…

Graceling by Kristin Cashore

That’s my cat, Siri, going, “Mom, you need to read this.  You started it 2 1/2 weeks ago.  I know you didn’t have much time to read on that fancy vacation that you failed to take me on, but seriously.  You should be finished by now!  Jet lag, blah, blah, I don’t want to hear it.  Finish it!”

My cat is very bossy.  But she keeps me in check.

What are you spending this Sunday in bed with?  Let me know in the comments, or leave a link to your post if you’re participating in this meme and I’ll stop by your blog!

I have not yet read Graceling, but someday I will! It's good that your cat keeps you in check ;) Someone has to, right?

I just finished it the other day, and it was really good! I definitely recommend it if you like fantasy!

And yeah, it's good to have someone to keep me in check, but I think I may have too many people doing that, with 2 cats, 1 husband, and 1 son! ;)

I liked Graceling, but Fire is beyond my favorite by her, although i did pick up Bitterblue at BEA and I'm looking forward to diving into it soon! Can't wait for your review! And I'm with your cat on this, you failed to take me on your fancy vacation too. :(

I just got Fire the other day, and after I go on my YA Contemporary reading binge, I'll be picking that up! And I failed to take a lot of people on that vacation… Maybe next time! ;)

It's good to have a bossy cat! Graceling's a fun read, and of the three my favourite's the most recent…Bitterblue was something truly special <3

She is really bossy! And very needy! She's kind of like a dog, actually! ;)

I just finished Graceling and I'll be reading a whole bunch of YA Contemporary soon, but after that I'm going to pick up Fire (I already bought it) and Bitterblue!

I was actually going to start reading Graceling over the weekend, but I was busy. I'm hoping to get to it this week.

I've been meaning to read Graceling for a long time. I'm looking forward to your review. Maybe I'll grab it from my shelf and dive right in.
