The Time Will Come (8)

The Time Will Come is a weekly meme hosted by Jodie at Books for Company, where we can highlight the books on our shelves that we’ve been meaning to get to for some time, but have been put on the back burner for one reason or another.

The book that I chose for this week is:
If I Stay (If I Stay #1)
Gayle Forman
Published 2010 by Speak, an imprint of Penguin (first published 2009 by Dutton Juvenile)

A critically acclaimed novel that will change the way you look at life, love, and family.

In the blink of an eye everything changes. Seventeen year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall what happened afterwards, watching her own damaged body being taken from the wreck. Little by little she struggles to put together the pieces- to figure out what she has lost, what she has left, and the very difficult choice she must make. Heartwrenchingly beautiful, Mia’s story will stay with you for a long, long time. (From Goodreads)

I bought this book sometime last year, and then I bought Where She Went earlier this year.  I really want to read them, but I’ve just never gotten around to it.  Hopefully I’ll be able to read them soon!

What books have been pushed back for you?  Let me know, or leave a link to your post if you’re participating in this meme and I’ll be sure to stop by your blog!  (*Note:  I am currently on vacation and this was a pre-written post, so I will not be linking up on Books for Company, nor will I be able to respond to comments for a while.  But I will respond eventually, I promise!)

I actually almost bought this at Wal-Mart yesterday. It's supposed to be great!

I liked this book and I really loved the sequel. I haven't read them, because I just listened to the audio versions, but I would be tempted to say that the audio versions are better because the back ground music (especially for If I Stay) is fantastic!!!

I have both of these books and they are currently sitting on my unread shelf :( Maybe we should pick a time and read them together? And get Steph to read them too.
