Dewey’s 24-Hour Read-a-Thon: Hours 17-20

Only 4 hours left!  But I’m not sure how much longer I can hang on…

Book(s) read since last update:  None finished

Thoughts on current read:  I’m still working on my reread of Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty.  I was hoping this one would be a semi-quick read since I’ve read it before.  But I’ve been pretty tired and my reading has really slowed down, so it’s not going by as quickly as I’d like.

Total books read so far:
The Lover’s Dictionary by David Levithan
Uglies:  Shay’s Story by Scott Westerfeld

Pages read since last update:  24 (Horrible!)

Total pages read so far:  437

Amount of time spent reading since last update:  1 hour (I commented some more and also spent over an hour on the phone with Courtney @ Abducted By Books)

Total time spent reading so far:  7 hours

Book Sentence @ On the Wings of Books (here’s my sentence)

Way to go! You have done fantastic during the readathon. I think that having fun is what is most important, not the number of pages you read!

This is so fun — every weekend is a read-a-thon for me — that's when I'm able to get all my reading done! But it's way more fun to do it in a group!

Yeah, it was a lot of fun! It was my first time and I had a blast! You should try to participate in October! ;)
